Requires forty-five (45) semester credits including:

• Required core courses (20.5-21.5 credits)
• Concentration courses (9 credits)
• Final Paper requirements (3 credit class)
• Elective courses (to bring total credits to 45)
• Internship (400 hours)

Internship requirement

A professional-level internship consisting of a minimum of 400 hours of work is required for the MPP and MURP degrees. Typically the internship is completed during the summer between the first and second years. However, internships may be done at any point before the end of the program. The requirement may be waived for individuals with substantial relevant work experience. See the Director of Career Services, Lynne Schuman, if you have questions about a possible waiver.
