Documenting Completion of the Professional Paper

The deadline for completion of the professional paper and oral presentation is the 20th day of the intended graduation month.

• May 20th for finishing in May
• July 20th for finishing in July
• December 20th for finishing in December

As soon as the final version of the professional paperhas been completed and approved and the oral presentation has been successfully completed, complete the following steps to document completion of the professional paper. 

1. Digital Conservancy Agreement form – submit to 280 HHH (hard copy )

• The Digital Conservancy Agreement Form must be signed by the paper author
• Submit a hard copy version of the form
• Submit along with the Signed Title Page
  

2.Signed Title Page – submit to 280 HHH (hard copy)

• The hard copy Title Page must follow the required Title Page format
• The paper supervisor must sign the title page to verify two things: successful completion of the oral presentation and approval of the final version of the paper.
• The additional committee member(s) will sign to approve the final version of the paper
• The Title Page must include ORIGINAL signatures of committee members – no scanned, copied, or faxed signatures, no exceptions!!
• Submit along with the Digital Conservancy Agreement Form

3. Electronic copy of final professional paper -- email to hhhss@umn.edu

• The final paper should be emailed as ONE word doc or pdf attachment. All appendices and/or supplemental information must be included.
• The document should include an unsigned title page.
