Dr. Hedblom is a professor, lawyer, and consultant. During 2002 she has been resident in Geneva, Switzerland, appointed as executive coordinator of the World Summit on the Information Society, a United Nations Summit. She has worked extensively in the United States, Europe, and Asia as an expert and consultant on a wide range of telecommunications and information policy issues.
She currently is the director of the Telecommunications and Information Society Policy Forum and adjunct professor at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, and professor of politics and communications at Augsburg College.
She also has been an international communications fellow with the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
Dr. Hedblom offers consulting services through Dain International, St. Paul, and maintains an "Of Counsel" legal practice status with Lockridge, Grindal, Nauen & Holstein law offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her consulting practice includes a varied list of local, state, national, and international clients in both private and public sectors. |
