"Understanding public policy is fundamental to all disciplines in all sectors. Leadership in any field demands an understanding of local, regional, national, and international policy to solve problems and transform systems. The Humphrey School is one of the best public policy schools in the nation. I am honored to be a resource to the dean as he continues to build on the legacy of Hubert Humphrey in a critical time in the public policy arena. I fully expect the graduates of the Institute to continue the great tradition of being extraordinary leaders in business, government, foundations, and nonprofits."
