Strategic issues in business and policy
Kiyoshi Nakasaka advises business executives and government policymakers on strategic issues in a variety of business and policy areas. He has played numerous key roles in establishing successful alliances between U.S., European, and Japanese business and governmental organizations. He also hosts many global policy and business discussion forums in Washington, D.C., for the Council for Excellence in Government, Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communication Technology, and many other organizations. Nakasaka also is a member of the advisory council for the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, a Washington, D.C. based nonprofit organization.
Prior to establishing Washington CORE, Nakasaka was a public policy and government affairs analyst for the Whalen Company in Washington, D.C. He also worked for the CBS News Tokyo Bureau and McCann-Erickson, an advertising agency in Tokyo.
Nakasaka earned a master of arts degree in public policy from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs and studied government at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Sophia University in Tokyo.
