Jacqueline Copeland-Carson, Ph.D., senior fellow, works with the Roy Wilkins Center for Human Relations and Social Justice.

A managing director with U.S. Bank's philanthropic services program, Copeland-Carson holds master's degrees in city and regional planning and anthropology, as well as a doctorate in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, with field experience in Nigeria. Previous professional positions include vice president for operations and programs for Twin Cities RISE! and vice president of programs for the Philadelphia Foundation, as well as consultancies with the National Community Development Initiative, the U.S. Department of Housing and Economic Development and foundations throughout the United States.
