Dawn Fish

Biography

As Senior Director of Development, I work closely with Dean Brian Atwood, the management team, faculty and our benefactors to further the charitable income of the Humphrey School. I am the Humphrey School's liaison to the University of Minnesota Foundation and my colleagues there to coordinate the Humphrey School's development work with overall University of Minnesota activity.

I joined the Humphrey School earlier in 2008 after serving as executive director of the John T. Petters Foundation, the vice president of advancement at Scholarship America and prior to that, as a director of development for seven years at the Minnesota Medical Foundation raising funds for diabetes cure research.

I hold a master's degree in organizational leadership from the College of St. Catherine, a bachelor's degree in communications from Metropolitan State University, and have participated for many years on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, in addition to others. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about charitable giving opportunities to further the great work of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
