Deborah Cundy is a vice president at Carlson, a global travel, hospitality, and marketing company headquartered in Minneapolis. She has worked for Carlson for nearly 20 years in various marketing and communications roles.
Cundy also served as an assistant dean at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. While there, she developed the leadership series called “Inside the Boardroom” and assisted in the development of the Center for Integrative Leadership, a joint venture between the Carlson School of Management and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Cundy is a former radio news broadcaster and documentary producer. She is the co-author, along with Marilyn Carlson Nelson, of How We Lead Matters: Reflections on a Life of Leadership (McGraw-Hill 2008.)
Cundy holds an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in liberal studies from Hamline University.
