Mr. Jeyhun Atayev is a Projects Director with the National Chapter of Transparency International in Azerbaijan where he works to shape government policy toward increased transparency, particularly the transparency of government communications, which he sees as a way to ensure accountability and reduce corruption in his country. He earned a master degree in Oriental studies from Baku State University and a certificate in political studies from the School of Political Studies (Strasbourg, France). During his fellowship year, Mr. Atayev will focus on NGO management, public and media relations, communications strategies, NGO-government partnerships and human resources management pertaining to the civil service selection process.
