Kudrati will talk about a ground-breaking integrated population, health, and environment project in villages of the Lake Tanganyika region. Working with local village populations, this collaborative endeavor is aimed at addressing the unmet needs and new demands for family planning services, improving maternal and child health services, identifying solutions for sustainable fishing and farming practices, preserving forest, ensuring the survival of Lake Tanganyika, and offering alternative livelihoods, economic empowerment, and diversified incomes for the people in this region.
