 Los Angeles Times political reporter Tom Hamburger will talk about his
new book One Party
Country: The Republican Plan for Dominance in the 21st Century from
3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, July 24, in the Humphrey Forum. Following his opening
remarks, Hamburger will discuss "Why Republicans Win" with Ron Eibensteiner,
former chair of the Republican Party of Minnesota, and Jeff
Blodgett, executive director of Wellstone Action.
The event is sponsored by the Center
for the Study of Politics and Governance. Admission is free and open to
