Fennelly has been selected as the 2006-07 holder of the Fesler-Lampert Chair
in Urban and Regional Affairs. This endowed chair was established in 1999 through
the generosity and vision of David and Elizabeth Fesler. Fennelly will receive
research funds that she will use for her continued study on support groups in
suburban and rural Minnesota that help to integrate immigrants into local communities.
