| CBS NEWS PRODUCER WILL DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF POLLING AUGUST 9 The Humphrey Institute's Center for the Study of Politics and Governance is proud to welcome Kathleen A. Frankovic, producer and director of surveys for CBS News, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 9 in the Humphrey Forum (museum located on first floor). With political analyst and Humphrey professor Larry Jacobs, Frankovic will give a birdseye view "from the trenches" on the future of political polling.

Since 1996, she has been a senior producer for CBS News election coverage and served on the three-person panel evaluating CBS News' 2000 election night broadcast.
She is co-author of The Election of 1980, The Election of 1992, and The Election of 2000 (all published by Chatham House/CQ Press), and has published many articles on elections and public opinion.
This event is free and open to the public but advance registration is preferred by contacting Cindy Orbovich. For more information call 612-625-2530 or visit the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance online. |
