Humphrey School Student Facilities
There are 3 computer labs/study rooms and the Jernberg Lounge that are accessible to Humphrey students only, via UCard, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The HHH MURP lab is also accessible 24 x 7. The public computer lab in 50 is available during posted hours.
- Lab/Study Room 40
There is a printer and 12 computers (8 in the open lab area, 1 in meeting room 44, 1 in meeting room 45, 2 in meeting room 46). There are also study tables, carrels and couches. Laptop wireless access is available.
- Lab/QUIET Study Room 80
There are 20 computers and a printer. There are also tables and carrels for quiet study. Since lab 40 often has group meetings, it is important that lab 80 is available for quiet study. There is power in the study area where laptops can be plugged in.
- Lab 85 / Lab 85 Class Schedule
There are 24 student computers that are GIS capable for use of ArcGIS. The classroom also includes an Instructor PC, overhead LCD projector and printer. Lab 85 is available for open lab when not in use as an instructional lab.
Standard applications on Lab 40, 80 and 85 computers
- Jernberg Lounge (Room 10)
The lounge is for relaxing, socializing and eating. The student mailboxes are located here and there are tables, couches, a refrigerator and microwave. When not in use for lunch, this is a good room for quiet reading.
- MURP Planning Lab (Room 290)
This lab includes a drafting table, light table, color printer, scanner, computer with software specific to MURP needs and an overhead projector. There is also a library of research materials, handbooks and maps as well as conference table space necessary for capstone workshops.
- HHH Atrium area (Main entry of HHH)
This area has full laptop wireless capabilities as well as seating for 30 on the main floor. There are also 8 pod areas, 7 of which have study tables. When not in use for Conference Center events, this area is intended for student small group workspace and for lunch/informal meeting space.
- HHH Internal Conference rooms (Rooms: 131, 173, 270, 274)
These rooms are available for staff and students to reserve for group meetings using the Google Calendar or by contacting the Front Desk. They are also available as study space when not reserved. You can check the calendar outside the door to see the schedule for the day, but please be ready to move if a last-minute meeting is scheduled for the room.
