The Humphrey School provides several distance learning options including flexible evening, weekend, and online courses that allow you to concurrently pursue your presonal, professional, and academic goals. Distance learning opportunities include:

Certificate Programs Opportunites

The Certificate in Public Affairs Leadership (PAL) is offered in a unique hybrid of on-campus and online sessions making it convenient for students from outside of and around the Twin Cities area to participate. Students may complete the entire 12 credit certificate in this flexible model.

 

Degree Programs Opportunites

The Master of Public Affairs (MPA) is a 30 credit degree with 16 credits of required core courses. 12 credits of the required core are offered as a hybrid of on-campus and online sessions. This hybrid model is the perfect combination: the intensity and depth of in-person instruction paired with the convenience of online coursework.

Individual Course Opportunites

In addition to certificate and degree program opportunities, online courses are offered every semester. Some of our flexible, online course offerings include:
