The Center on Women and Public Policy partners with the Public Non-profit Leadership Center at the Humphrey School and others to support and strengthen non-profits working to achieve gender equity.
The Feminist Leadership Fellows Program supports and challenges existing leadership within feminist institutions. During each fellowship year, executive directors of women-centered non-profits develop solid new ideas and approaches, strengthen their leadership capacities, build new and stronger networks to support their work, and develop a critical framework within which to address how topical issues affect both their long-term mission and day-to-day activities.
Less than 1% of the thousands of existing public policy teaching cases raise women's issues or even have a female protagonist. The Center embarked on a project to produce case studies in women and public policy, pulling together scholars, students, activists, and Extension educators from many different disciplinary backgrounds.
The Humphrey School’s Young Women’s Leadership Award recognizes organizations that have made a demonstrated commitment to advancing the leadership of young women ages 25-35 in Minnesota.
