Welcome to the nation's first complete teaching, research, and outreach center devoted to women and public policy. Since 1985, the Center on Women and Public Policy (CWPP) has used gender analysis to challenge fundamental assumptions about politics, law, and economics on issues ranging from human rights to judicial selection and independence.

The Center has created and nurtured an interdisciplinary community of scholars on the University of Minnesota campus interested in women, law, and public policy. | WOMEN AND PUBLIC POLICY CASE STUDIES |
The Center embarked on a project to produce case studies with feminist perspectives in the summer of 2000, pulling together scholars, activists, and Extension educators from many different disciplinary backgrounds.
Case studies
Through national and international feminist internships, students learn about the challenges and opportunities facing women around the world. The Center annually awards internship grants to Humphrey students who wish to take feminist internships.
