May 5, the "Fast Feminists" -- CWPP director Sally Kenney and students (Coral Butson, Tamara Downs-Schwei, Katie Peacock, Kathryn Pearson, Melissa Reed, Emily Saunoi-Sandgren, Libby Sharrow, Sarah Taylor-Nanista and Kate Troy) -- completed a 5K run in support of Melpomene.

June 14 Breakfast with Susan Estrich.  A small group of leaders in the effort to elect more women in Minnesota attended a breakfast sponsored by the Center with Susan Etrich.  Ms Estrich is a best selling author, commentator and the first woman to run a presidential campaign.
