U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar welcomed policy makers, businesses, entrepreneurs, and interested members of the public to a Regional Competitiveness and Energy Efficiency Summit.
The purpose of the Summit was to:
- To provide information on policies and resources at the federal, state, and local levels that support energy efficiency;
- To highlight products and programs available to Minnesota businesses and citizens to increase competitiveness and save money through developing and adopting energy efficiency measures;
- To highlight Minnesota companies and organizations leading the way in energy efficiency and innovation.
The Energy Efficiency Summit was co-sponsored by the Center for Science, Technology and Public Policy at the Humphrey School and the Center for Integrative Leadership--a center jointly operated by the Carlson School of Management and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
