Regional Planning and Policy
A Monthly Brown Bag Event
At least once each month during the academic year, (usually on the 3rd Wednesday) the State and Local Policy Program hosts a brown bag talk on a topic related to regional planning and policy issues. Speakers include both University researchers and real-world practitioners, with the purpose of providing an informal forum that brings members of the Humphrey Institute's Regional Planning and Policy Area together with others sharing similar interests.
They are usually held in room 184 of the Humphrey Center. Each event begins at 12:45 with a brief discussion of a current planning related issue, followed by a presentation and concluding with questions and conversations with the speaker. The event concludes at 2:00. Light refreshments are provided.
