Relevant and rigorous leadership development tools are integral to the long-term health of public affairs. Complex revenue and accountability systems and the serious nature of the social problems facing government and nonprofit organizations create unique management and leadership challenges.
To thrive, leaders must possess a blend of hard and soft-skills, analytics and self-awareness, policy sophistication, and community awareness. Developing and nurturing these skills requires purposive investment and careful attention to how existing knowledge is transferred.
The PNLC supports nonprofit capacity building with tools based in research. We institute new web-enhanced course management tools and use blogs, video, and podcasts regularly in our teaching and engagement efforts.
See our Case Studies and Hubert Learning Materials for examples of tools created by PNLC faculty and staff.
