Leadership and Management Lunch Forum

 

The Leadership and Management Area held its first Lunch Forum on December 3, 2010. The forum featured a presentation by Richa Dhanju, whose dissertation research at Texas A&M University focused on Mission Convergence, a program implemented in partnership between government and community-based NGOs that aims to extend social security and empower poor women.

 

Richa highlights the organization's impacts on Delhi's poor, plus its struggles to maintain good governance and clear objectives. The idea behind Mission Convergence germinated in the classrooms of the Humphrey School while its director, Rashmi Singh, was an MPA student here.
