The Humphrey School Policy Fellows Program offers practical training in public affairs leadership for emerging leaders seeking new experiences and skills.
Over the past 21 years, the Policy Fellows program has trained over 600 Minnesotans, many of whom are now influential figures in their communities.
Minnesota has long been a leader in developing well-trained election administrators, with local, county and state-level election administrators consistently ranking among the best in the nation. Minnesota has also been an innovator in the administration of elections. Minnesota's strengths - excellent administrators and key innovations - are the basis for a new collaboration between the University of Minnesota and the Office of the Secretary of State - The Minnesota Program on Excellence in Election Administration.
The Center's Minnesota Redistricting project provides non-partisan information and analysis of Minnesotan elections, the competitiveness of legislative races, and the consequences of weak competition as well as public education and engagement that helps to place redistricting reform on the agendas of the public and policy makers.
The Center convenes forums with state and national partners on pressing health policy challenges and conducts research on public attitudes and health policy reform.
