Alumni Gather With Students in Washington, D.C.

Current Sushi in Washington, D.C. 's, Dupont Circle was the scene for this year's annual gathering of greater Washington, D.C.,-area alumni and Humphrey School students who traveled to Washington over their spring break last week. While in Washignton, students visit and participate in panel discussions with some of the more than 300 School alumni that live in the Washington area working on Capitol Hill, federal agencies, and in other organizations.

On Tuesday evening, March 13, more than 100 alumni, students, and guests attended a reception at Current Sushi. Humphrey School Dean Eric Schwartz shared comments and updated attendees on his strategic priorities for the School. Humphrey alumnus Dave Uejio (MPP '04) served as emcee for the evening’s program. Sarah Lynch (MPP '01), a member of the Humphrey School Alumni Board, reviewed D.C. area alumni activities.
