DOMESTIC MENTOR PROGRAM TIMELINE
Late June 2008: Domestic mentor profiles available on website. Students can review profiles and begin submitting enrollment forms.
July 25, 2008: Student enrollment forms for Domestic Mentor Program due
August 2008: Alumni Mentor Committee makes matches
September 2008: Students notified of mentor match. Students attend orientation sessions on September 15 or 19 to prepare for successful mentor experience. Mentors attend their orientation session to prepare for the program (date to be announced).
October 2008: Students and mentors meet at kick-off event (RSVP will be requested for one of 4 dates TBA)
November 2008 to May 2009: Mentors and students meet monthly on individually arranged schedule. Domestic Mentor Program provides additional events, including a speed networking and resume review session and a Day at the Capital.
April 2009: Mentor Celebration (wrap-up) – date to be announced.
