June + July

Students enroll
Representative mentor profiles are available on the mentor blog. Students can review sample profiles and begin submitting enrollment forms. 
July 1 to July 29

Mentors enroll
Mentors complete the enrollment form throughout July.

August - September

Mentors Matched - August and September
Alumni Mentor Committee will match mentors with students.

October

Matches confirmed
Both students and mentors are notified of their matches.

Student Orientation

Students attend orientation sessions to prepare for a successful mentor experience. Attendance at an orientation session is required. Register to attend a session by clicking here.

October - November

Mentor Orientation and Networking
A get-together for mentors only to meet one another, ask questions, and get some basic information about the program. The event is held in the Humphrey Forum (Museum) located on the first floor of the Humphrey Center.

Kick-off meetings
Students and mentors meet for breakfast or afternoon tea at one of four possible kick-off events held in the Humphrey Center atrium.

Mentor Program agreement form completed

November - May

Mentors and students meet monthly from November to May on individually arranged schedules.  The Mentor Program provides additional events:

Speed networking and resume review session
A fun event that hones student and mentor skills. Date TBA.

Mentor Year-end celebration
We wrap up the year in late April with a celebratory gathering.
