"Welcome alumni!
Graduates of the Humphrey Institute share a unique experience from their time at the University of Minnesota. They have learned the skills to become professionals in the world of public affairs and planning and carry with them a desire to promote the common good. The Institute’s alumni serve in every branch of government. They lead nonprofit organizations. They are valued employees in the private sector and entrepreneurs. In short, they make a difference in the world.
Alumni play a large role in fostering a thriving Humphrey community. Alumni contribute to our community by teaching, mentoring, advising, hiring, donating, and volunteering. They shape the Institute’s strategic direction, providing leadership on the alumni board and advisory council, and are the voice of the public policy profession. They pave the way for each new class of policy and planning students.
In turn, the Institute wants to facilitate personal and professional development opportunities for alumni through networking and volunteer activities. Keep abreast of professional advancements and Institute happenings through the alumni newsletter, News & Views. Visit often and feel free to contact me with any questions or requests. I am here to support you as you serve the common good." |
