Chicagoland area Humphrey alumni worked to coordinate the first annual Day of Service for the Greater Chicago Area. This year's Day of Service was held at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in their community. The group of Humphrey Chicago Alumni and friends had some amazing stats from packing bulk food for a couple of hours! Mark Fox (MP '84) and Katie Crumley (MPP '04) are members of the Humphrey School Alumni Board and have worked to establish a committee of Greater Chicagoland area Humphrey alumni to plan and guide alumni events and activities. Current plans include hosting Humphrey School students on employer/internship visits Wednesday, May 29 through Friday, May 31, 2013.
