Alumni interested in health policy are cordially invited to join us at the Humphrey School on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 for coffee and conversation with Dr. Anne Haddix, Chief Policy Officer in the Office of Strategy and Innovation at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.We will meet in the Freeman Commons (Room 205) from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. to hear Dr. Haddix’s perspective on health policy and to share your insights and perspectives.
You are also invited to attend Dr. Haddix’s public presentation at noon on May 6 in Cowles Auditorium:“Rethinking Public Health in a Reformed Health System”.Dr. Haddix will talk about the changing role of public health in the face of dramatic changes in US health policies and structures.
