To reserve a spot at a Spring Visit Day, click on your preferred date above. If neither of these dates work for you or if your desired date has filled, we would be happy to arrange a campus visit at your convenience and/or put you in contact with Humphrey alumni in your area.
Limited funds are available for small travel grants to help defray costs if you are traveling further than 250 miles. Preference will be given to individuals who have not been to Minnesota before. To request a travel grant, please contact Janine Mullins at (612) 626-7229 or hhhadmit@umn.edu.
We invite you to contact other admitted students on our Facebook Group page. This page is designed to facilitate communication among the admitted class of 2012. Feel free to ask questions of Graduate Student Services staff or of each other. Current students from each degree are members.
Graduate Student Services (GSS) will host a series of optional online chats for admitted students. Conducted by GSS staff and current Humphrey students, these sessions are designed to answer questions you may have prior to orientation this summer. Simply log in to the chat room as a guest a few minutes before the scheduled start time to join us. You can access the chats by clicking on the chat you'd like to attend, and find the schedule below:
Please remember that all prerequisites must be met prior to registering for classes in your degree program. Please review the prerequisites for your program.
We hope to send information about merit-based aid decisions in mid to late March.
Before you can register and activate your admission to the University of Minnesota, you will be required to complete a series of online orientation activities. Former students of the University of Minnesota will also be required to complete these online activities before registering. We hope to send information about orientation in early May. At that time, we also will send you information about completing prerequisites, and advising.
