A starting point to explore all University of Minnesota funding options. Fellowships are supported by endowed income from wills and trusts or gifts from organizations or individuals.
A number of students in our degree programs secure research or teaching assistant positions for 10 to 20 hours per week. These positions help non-Minnesotans qualify for resident tuition rates. Students holding graduate assistant positions also may be eligible for partial tuition benefits and health insurance.
