| The Humphrey Institute and University of Minnesota have a number of small grants available to support unpaid and international internships. |
Graduate Assistantships
A number of students in all degree programs secure research or teaching assistant positions for ten to twenty hours a week. These positions qualify non-Minnesota residents for resident tuition rates, and students holding graduate assistant positions also may be eligible for partial tuition benefits and health insurance.

Fellowships through The Graduate School
These Fellowships are supported by endowed income from wills and trusts, or gifts from organizations or individuals.
