Current Students

If you are a current student, you may be eligible for one of these financial aid programs.

Foreign Language & Area Studies (FLAS) – FLAS is a full-tuition scholarship and $15,000 stipend for the academic year or a summer tuition scholarship plus $2,500 stipend for summer study. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents.

Humphrey Alumni Scholars –- These $1,000 to $4,500 tuition grants are based on scholarship, professional promise, community service, and financial need.

Jonas Swartz Award– $1,000 to $4,500 is awarded to a student demonstrating outstanding community service. The deadline for applications is April 20, 2010.

Gayle R. Zoffer Award – $1,000 to $4,500 awarded by ATGP to a student with interest in women and public policy. The deadline for applications is April 20. Application instructions.

Richard Bolan Award – Tuition grant of $2,000 to $6,000 awarded to MURP students. The deadline for applications is April 20.

Internship grants –- The Humphrey Institute and University of Minnesota have a number of small grants available to support unpaid and international internships.
