| MASTER OF PUBLIC POLICY (MPP)
The Master of Public Policy degree prepares students to be public leaders who design, manage, and advocate to develop institutions of governance that accomplish public purposes. It is a multidisciplinary curriculum that provides in-depth education in public management, policy analysis, and advocacy techniques that can be applied in a number of policy areas. The program is built upon a core of theoretical and methodological courses, with further coursework in advanced management or analysis skills or a substantive area of public policy.

Erik Hansen
Master of Public Policy alumnus
"I chose a degree in public policy so I can gather the skills necessary to combat problems in housing and community development. I like studying at the Humphrey Institute because the twin Cities offers a great laboratory in which to observe the interaction of governments, the role of regional planning, and neighborhood self determination." |
